Weather Station
The weather station instruments are located high above the clubhouse. These instruments gather wind speed and direction, air pressure, temperature and humidity. If you hit the picture above it will bring up the live weather display.
The display shows the current weather conditions. Each of the gauges on the display is also an icon. So if you move your pointer around the display and want more information just pick the item you are interested in and another window will appear with a graph. At the bottom of the graph there are more options if you want to see for example the wind speed over the last 31 days.
Weather Station how it works.
Outside above the race box there are the five instruments. These are powered by three solar panels. Each unit sends the data over a wireless connection to the weather station console in the race box. The weather console is connected to the race box computer. This computer is wired to the RCC BT internet hub and transferred the data via FTP to the RCC web site. This site.
